Introduction<\/strong>– Laminating is the simple process in which two or more flexible packaging webs are joined together. This flexible packaging webs could be films, papers, aluminum foils etc. With the increase in consumerism, laminated films have become an inevitable part of the packaging industry as they are serving the purpose of protection and enhanced appearance. They guard the product against fingerprints and smudges, stains and spills, or any other contaminants. Lamination films<\/strong><\/a> can visually be more appealing and with the trendy glossy and matt finishes, the colour and contrast of the printing can add sheen to the product look.<\/p>\n

A wide range of co-extruded multilayer films<\/strong><\/em><\/a> can be laminated thermally to different forms of substrate rigid sheet films like the PS, PET, PP, PVC, and EPS. The processing is so well designed that the monolayer sheets can be enhanced to the complex multi-layer structures by incorporating a seal and barrier layer and proving to be a cost-efficient solution. The high-quality thermal lamination films are capable of being co-extruded up to nine-layer films and are available in a medium barrier which is nylon-based and a high barrier one which is the EVOH based one.<\/p>\n\n
